2.1 Information you give us

When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter. The form asks for:

We also record which page you submitted the form from, and the date and time of submission.

If you contact us by email or telephone instead, we hold whatever information you choose to provide in that correspondence.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Our web server keeps standard access logs, which typically include your IP address, the pages requested, the date and time, your browser type and the referring page. These logs are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and troubleshooting purposes.

This website loads its typeface from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address. We do not control that processing. If you would prefer this did not happen, browser extensions that block third-party requests will prevent it, and the site remains fully usable with a fallback typeface.

2.3 Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not run an analytics tag. If we introduce analytics or advertising technology in future, we will update this policy before doing so and, where required, ask for your consent first.

We mention this specifically because many privacy policies describe cookies that the site does not actually use. Ours describes what is genuinely happening at the date shown above.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• respond to your enquiry and answer your questions;
• prepare a proposal or quotation where you have asked for one;
• provide services if you become a client, and administer that relationship;
• keep records of enquiries for our own business administration;
• maintain the security and proper functioning of this website.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list simply because you submitted an enquiry — if we offer you the option to subscribe to anything, it will be a clear and separate choice.

4. Our legal basis for processing

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract — responding to your enquiry and preparing a proposal.
• Performance of a contract — delivering services to clients.
• Legitimate interests — operating and securing our website, and keeping business records. We have considered your rights and consider this processing proportionate and unsurprising.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain records to comply with tax or accounting requirements.

5. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf. These currently include:

• our hosting provider, which operates the servers where this website and its database run;
• our email provider, which we use to receive and reply to enquiries.

These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you are located in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or another region with data transfer restrictions, information you submit will be transferred to and stored in the United States, and may be processed by service providers in other countries.

Where such transfers are subject to legal safeguard requirements, we rely on the appropriate mechanisms available — such as standard contractual clauses with our processors.

• Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time.

If you are a California resident, you additionally have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. This website is served over an encrypted connection, form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS, and access to our systems is limited to people who need it.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information — such as payment card details, passwords or identification documents — through the contact form.

10. Children

This website and our services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

Our website links to third-party websites, including our own social media profiles and external reference sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we recommend reading their policies before providing them with information.
